Oliver Daemen (d. 20 Ağustos 2002, Hollanda), 20 Temmuz 2021'de yapılan uzay uçuşu görevinin mürettebatında yer alan Hollandalı bir uzay turistidir. Gerçekleşen uçuş sırasında 18 yaşındaydı ve yolculuğun sonunda uzaya giden en genç insan unvanına sahip oldu.

Hayatı

Daemen, Hollanda'nın şehrinde dünyaya geldi.Lise öğrenimi, Tilburg'daki Odulphuslyceum adlı okulda tamamladı ve 2020'de lise diplomasını aldı. Eylül 2021'de Utrecht Üniversitesi'nde fizik alanında eğitim görmeye başladı.

Daemen, New Shepard roketindeki bir koltuğu, açık artırma yoluyla güvence altına aldı; Blue Origin'in ödeme yapan ilk müşterisi ve uzay uçuşları için ödeme yapan 8. kişi oldu. Başlangıçta farklı bir kişi, NS-16 görevindeki bir koltuk için teklifte bulundu ancak gelecekteki farklı bir uçuşa katılmaya karar verdi.
