Patricia Crone (1945, - 11 Temmuz 2015), Danimarkalı-Amerikalı yazar, tarihçi ve oryantalist. 1994'ten beri İslam tarihi araştırmaları yapmaktadır. Lisans ve lisansüstü çalışmalarını Londra Üniversitesinde tamamlamıştır. 1977'de Oxford Üniversitesinde İslam Tarihi alanında öğretim görevlisi olmuştur. 1997'de Princeton İleri Araştırmalar Enstitüsünde profesör olmuştur. 11 Temmuz 2015'te ölmüştür.
