Robert Oppenheimer'in yargılanması, Amerikalı fizikçi ve Manhattan Projesi'nin baş bilim insanı olan Oppenheimer'in Soğuk Savaş dönemindeki politik ve ideolojik atmosferin bir parçası olarak yaşadığı bir olaydır. Oppenheimer, nükleer silah geliştirme çalışmalarına liderlik etmesi ve aynı zamanda sol eğilimleri ve bağlantıları nedeniyle 1950'lerin başında Amerikan hükûmeti tarafından dikkatle izlendi.

1954 yılında, ABD Senatosu'nun Atom Enerjisi Komitesi, Oppenheimer'in güvenilirliğini sorgulayan bir dizi toplantı düzenledi. Bu toplantılar, Oppenheimer'in Güvenlik Kuruluna danışmanlık yapma yetkisini kaybetmesiyle sonuçlandı. Oppenheimer, komünist bağlantıları olduğu ve güvenilir bir nükleer güvenlik riski olduğu iddialarıyla suçlandı.
Oppenheimer'in asıl yargılanması ve halk gözündeki itibarının zedelenmesi, güvenlik yetkililerinin 1954'te verdiği kararın ardından geldi. Kararı, ABD Başkanı Dwight D. Eisenhower'ın onaylamasıyla gerçekleşti. Bu karar, Oppenheimer'in Güvenlik Kurulunda resmi bir rol almasını yasakladı ve onu nükleer güvenlikle ilgili hassas bilgilere erişimden men etti.
