Joanne Baron

Joanne Baron (d. 3 Şubat 1953), Amerikalı kadın oyuncu, film yapımcısı, oyuncu eğitmeni. Oyunculuk yanında film yapımcısıdır.

Yaşamı

Rhode Island Providence'de büyümüş ve Classical ile Pawtucket liselerini bitirdikten sonra girdiği Connecticut Üniversitesi'nden mezun olmuştur. Broadway fırsat yakalayınca Whitney Houston'un annesi Cissy Houston ile Anything Goes müzkal oyunda şarkı söyleyerek sanat yaşamına adım atmıştır.

Oyuncunun yer aldığı yapımlar arasında; sinema filmleri : Valley Girl, National Lampoon's Joy of Sex, Real Genius, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Drag Me to Hell, Spider-Man 2, The Prince and Me, Allie & Me, Universal Soldier, Someone to Watch Over Me ile televizyon yapımları : Mad Men, Law & Order, The Shield, Curb Your Enthusiasm ve ABD Kanalı dizisi Lovers and Other Strangers sayılabilir.

Baron, 20 yıldan fazla bir süredir, kocası sanat yönetmeni DW Brown ile beraber işlettikleri Kaliforniya Santa Monica'daki Joanne Baron/DW Brown Stüdyosu ile New York'taki The William Esper Stüdyosu'nda oyunculuk üzerine çalışmalar yapmakta dersler vermektedir.
