John Snow (15 Mart 1813 – 16 Haziran 1858) İngiliz doktor ve anestezi ve tıbbi hijyenin geliştirilmesinde liderdir. Modern epidemiyolojinin kurucularından biri olarak kabul edilir, bunun kısmen sebebi kaynağını bulma konusundaki çalışmalarında bir su pompasının tutamağını kaldırarak hastalığı kısıtlamasıdır. Snow'un bulguları, diğer şehirlerde benzer değişikliklere ve dünya çapında genel halk sağlığında önemli bir iyileşmeye yol açan Londra'nın su ve atık sistemlerindeki temel değişikliklerin yanı sıra anestezinin benimsenmesine ilham vermiştir.
