Redd Foxx sahne adıyla daha çok tanınan John Elroy Sanford (9 Aralık 1922 - 11 Ekim 1991), Amerikalı bir stand-up komedyeni ve oyuncusuydu. Sanford and Son adlı televizyon programında Fred G. Sanford'u canlandırdı ve The Redd Foxx Show ve The Royal Family'de rol aldı. Film projeleri arasında All the Fine Young Cannibals (1960), Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970),Norman... Is That You? (1976) ve Harlem Nights (1989) da bulunur.

Erken dönem
Foxx, 9 Aralık 1922'de St. Louis, Missouri'de doğdu ve Chicago'nun Güney Yakası'nda büyüdü.
