Sewall Green Wright (21 Ekim 1889 - 3 Mart 1988) evrim teorisi ve ile ilgili güçlü çalışmaları bilinen Amerikalı genetikçidir.

Sewall Wright, Melrose, Massachusetts'de doğdu. 'nden mezun oldu. University of Chicago Zooloji Bölümünde 1925'ten itibaren görev yaptı. R. A. Fisher ve J.B.S. Haldane ile birlikte genetik popülasyon kuramını kurdu. Wright, İnbred katsayısını ve soy ağacının hesaplama metodunun buluşunu yaptı.
