Yaşamı
Stubs, 1 Mayıs 1937'de Hertfordshire, İngiltere'de doğdu. 1956'da başladığı oyunculuk kariyerini 2021 yılındaki ölümüne kadar sürdürdü.Yaz Tatili (1963) filminde rol almasıyla tanınmaya başladı ve daha sonra BBC sitcomlarında Rita Rawlins'i canlandırdığı Ölüm Bize Parçalanana Kadar ile Hastalık ve Sağlıkta adlı yapımlarda görüldü. Diğer tanınmış televizyon rolleri arasında Worzel Gummidge'deki Sally Teyze ve The Worst Witch'deki Miss Bat bulunmaktadır. Daha yakın zamanda BAFTA ödüllü televizyon dizisi Sherlock ile Sherlock Holmes'un ev sahibesi Bayan Hudson rolüyle ekranlara geldi. Stubs, 12 Ağustos 2021'de Edinburgh, İskoçya'da 84 yaşında vefat etti.
