Yaşamı

Lesser, 3 Aralık 1922'de New York, New York'ta doğdu. New York Şehir Koleji'nden mezun oldu. 1949'da başladığı oyunculuk kariyerini 2010 yılına kadar sürdürdü. En çok TV komedi dizisi; Leo Amca rolünde olduğu Seinfeld ile akıllarda kaldı. Yaşamını Burbank, Kaliforniya'da sürdürdü.

Özel yaşamı ve ölümü

Tek evliliğini 1954 ile 1982'de yılına ayrılana kadar Janice Burrell ile yapmış iki çocuk sahibiydi. Lesser, 16 Şubat 2021 tarihinde Burbank, Kaliforniya'da uzun zamandır sorunlar yaşadığı zatürre ile birlikte seyreden akciğer kanseri nedeniyle 88 yaşında vefat etti.
