Niaprazin, fenilpiperazin grubunun yatıştırıcı-hipnotik bir ilacıdır. 1970'lerin başından beri Fransa, İtalya ve Lüksemburg dahil olmak üzere birçok Avrupa ülkesinde uyku bozukluklarının tedavisinde kullanılmaktadır. Uygun güvenlik ve tolere edilebilirlik profili ve kötüye kullanım potansiyeli olmaması nedeniyle çocuklar ve ergenlerde yaygın olarak kullanılır.
