Türkiye ve Eswatini arasında geleneksel olarak dostane ilişkiler vardır. Türkiye, özel mülkiyetin kamulaştırılmasına karşı çıkan ve Svazi toplulukları arasındaki kavgayı bitiren Sobhuza'yı destekledi. Türkiye Sobhuza’nın bölgenin ekonomik kalkınması için Beyaz yerleşimcilere ihtiyaç duyduğu yönündeki iddiasına açıkça katılmasa da, sahibinin ırkından bağımsız olarak özel mülkiyetin korunması gerektiğini savundu.
